Inspire Telecom vs BT, Virgin Media, Sky, EE, Vodafone, Three, TalkTalk and NOW

Inspire Telecom is rated 4.9 from 600+ verified UK reviews on Trustpilot, an Excellent score and the highest in this comparison. The table below ranks the best-known UK broadband providers by the measure that matters most, their Trustpilot score, then sets out the mid-contract price-rise position and what customers actually say. We lead on the score because that is what tells you how a provider treats its customers, not how many reviews it has collected.

Rating words follow Trustpilot's own bands: 4.5 to 5 Excellent, 3.5 to 4.4 Great, 2.5 to 3.4 Average, 1.5 to 2.4 Poor, 0 to 1.4 Bad. Trustpilot scores are as of 31st July 2025; scores change over time, so check the live profiles. We do not rank by review volume: a large provider will always have collected more reviews than a focused one, which says nothing about the service behind them.

How to read the table

Two things separate the field.

The first is the Trustpilot score, which is why the table is sorted by it. Inspire Telecom leads at 4.9 (Excellent), and Vodafone broadband is the standout among the large providers at 4.6, also Excellent. TalkTalk sits in the Average band at 2.7, and the rest (EE, BT, Virgin Media, Sky, Three and NOW) score between 1.2 and 1.5, which Trustpilot bands as Poor or Bad. We deliberately do not rank by review count: a national provider will always have gathered far more reviews than a focused one, and that volume tells you nothing about how it treats you once you are a customer.

The second is what happens to your price after you sign. Inspire Telecom fixes the price for your term, so there are no mid-contract rises. Annual in-contract price increases are common across the larger providers and are one of the most frequent themes in their reviews. If a fixed, predictable bill matters to you, that is the column to look at.

Common questions

Comparing providers, answered

Which UK broadband provider has the best Trustpilot rating?

Inspire Telecom is rated 4.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 600+ verified UK reviews, an Excellent rating and the highest score in this comparison. Among the larger providers, Vodafone broadband also scores Excellent at 4.6. TalkTalk sits in the Average band at 2.7, while most of the big-name providers (EE, BT, Virgin Media, Sky, Three and NOW) score between 1.2 and 1.5, which Trustpilot bands as Poor or Bad. Scores are as of 31st July 2025.

Does Inspire Telecom raise prices mid-contract?

No. Inspire Telecom fixes your price for the life of your contract, so there are no mid-contract rises and no annual inflation-linked increases. Several of the larger UK providers apply annual price changes during the contract term, which is one of the most common complaints in their reviews.

Is Inspire Telecom support based in the UK?

Yes. Inspire Telecom's support team is UK-based, with real people answering the phone rather than offshore call centres or chatbots. Some larger providers also offer UK-based support, but availability and wait times vary.
