We're looking for a Customer Experience Adviser to join our team and help us continue delivering the personal, responsive service our customers know us for. The salary is £26,500 per annum.
At Inspire, we don't believe customer service is simply about answering the phone politely. Great customer experience means taking responsibility, getting things right, keeping customers informed and making sure they don't have to keep chasing us for answers.
If you're naturally helpful, confident speaking to people and enjoy solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.

The role
You'll spend most of your time helping customers with their broadband, phone, mobile and account questions. The work is a mix of conversations and practical follow-through, so it would suit someone who likes speaking with people, explaining things clearly and seeing problems through.
- Speak with customers by phone, email and live chat.
- Help with bills, accounts, service questions and straightforward technical issues.
- Keep customers updated when something cannot be finished in one go.
- Keep accurate notes and work with colleagues when a second pair of eyes is needed.
Skills required
You don't need previous telecoms experience. Full training will be provided. We're looking for someone who has the core skills and attitude needed to deliver a great customer experience.
- You must be able to commute daily to our Rochester office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with customers over the telephone.
- A friendly, patient and professional manner.
- Good listening and questioning skills.
- The ability to understand a problem and work towards a solution.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good general computer and administrative skills.
- The ability to manage several tasks and priorities.
- Confidence working independently once trained.
- Reliability and good timekeeping.
- The ability to remain calm and professional in difficult conversations.
- A willingness to learn new systems, products and processes.
- A strong sense of responsibility. If you say you're going to do something, you do it.
- The ability to work well with colleagues.
Previous customer service experience is preferred. Telecoms experience is helpful, but not essential.
